ROSEMEAD, CA—The lines have been endless at the Lee’s Sandwiches in Rosemead, California since its soft opening on October 18th to customers who have been anxiously waiting its opening. Lee’s hot baguettes and famous café sua da,
(Lee’s Coffee), a special blend of Vietnamese-style French-pressed coffee with condensed milk, are among the most popular items on the always-expanding menu.
The opening of Lee’s Sandwiches is the perfect addition to the growing city of Rosemead. Its 16 feet vaulted ceiling,
spacious interiors, large glass windows, a patio seating area and free Wi-Fi make it a multifunctional haven to a diverse customer base.
Lee’s Sandwiches is a full-service made to-order gourmet deli and bakery, specializing in fresh-baked baguettes and
croissants, with a selection of over 20 different deli meats and fresh vegetables. The smoothies and juices use a variety of fruits such as papaya, lychee and sapodilla. The ice cream is made fresh daily with an assortment of flavors from the safe vanilla, green tea, to the daring durian.
The addition of Lee’s Sandwiches in Rosemead accounts for 32 stores in California, Arizona, Texas and Oklahoma. It is the last installment of Lee’s Sandwiches for 2006, as the company prepares for an aggressive expansion of another dozen stores in 2007.
In 2005, Lee’s Sandwiches was ranked as one of the top 50 largest foodservice bakery operations the United States by Modern Baking News. It has also been named, “Best Sandwiches in the OC,” by OC Weekly… soon to be in Los Angeles County. Lee’s Sandwiches is having its Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, October 28, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. –2:00 p.m. The event will be kicked off with 550,000 firecrackers, followed by dragon dancing, live entertainment and an abundance of the famous Lee’s Coffee and sandwiches samples from noon to 2 p.m. The store will be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the Grand Opening celebration, but will resume usual business hours thereafter.
